You will receive the exact butter dish shown in the photos.
I don't know about you, but I hate hard butter right out of the fridge. You try to spread it on your toast but it's so hard it rips a hole in the middle of it. You stick the cube in the microwave for 10 seconds and it becomes a puddle.
The unique design of the French butter dish keeps butter at the perfect spreadable consistency. Equally as important, it keeps it tasting nice and fresh.
Soften a cube of butter on the counter for a little bit then, simply pack the Butter into the lid. Each lid easily holds one stick, or 1/2 cup of butter. Then put about 1 inch of water into the base. The water create an airtight seal keeping the butter soft and fresh. No need to keep it in the refrigerator anymore, just simply leave it on the counter top and enjoy soft spreadable butter. It's recommended to change the water in the base at least every 3 to 4 days. No need to keep it filled up with butter all the time. When you use it up, simply wash it and start out with a fresh cube of butter in it.
The butter dish is dishwasher safe. Each one measures approximately 3" tall x 4.25" wide. Each one comes with an instruction card. The listing is for one butter dish.
All my pottery is fired to stoneware temperatures and is food safe, microwave safe, oven safe and dishwasher safe. In other words, it's made to be used! Each item is made by hand one at a time, so slight variations may exist. But hey, that's the beauty of handmade! I try to be very consistent on sizing and shapes. I also try and match the color of the pottery you will receive to the one in the listing. I try very hard to shoot my pictures to reflect the actual color of the item. I realize not all computers and phones display colors the same. If you would like additional photos of this item just let me know and I would be happy to take some additional pictures for you. I want you to be confident that the item you get will be what you’re expecting.
Normally all packages are shipped via USPS first class package or priority mail. However, if the order contains multiple items and requires a larger box then it will be shipped via FedEx.
